Profile and areas of experience

Tiziano Pucci has been a Product Designer at Crédit Agricole Italia since December 2019. He works on digital-banking apps and platforms for retail, small-business and corporate customers. His work spans research, UX/UI design, collaboration with development and post-release optimisation. Sources: About and English résumé (PDF).

His education includes a degree in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa and a master's degree in Information Architecture and UX Design from IULM. Before banking, he worked in web design, digital marketing and SME digitalisation. Sources: profile and education and experience in the résumé.

Documented skills

  • Research and validation: UX research, benchmarking, usability testing, analytics and feedback to test design hypotheses. Sources: design process and résumé.
  • UX/UI design: flows, hierarchy, microcopy, errors and interface states; using the design system to keep the product consistent. Source: Design process.
  • Business and development collaboration: prototypes, refinement, technical deep dives, handoff, demos and acceptance testing through to production. Sources: Design process and résumé.
  • Product strategy and evolution: supporting managers with the app roadmap and priorities; coordinating two designers during the Corporate Banking redesign. Sources: public app summary and résumé.
  • Tools and delivery context: Figma, FigJam, Maze, Azure DevOps and Agile / Scrum, as listed in the résumé. AI and development are areas of experimentation described in the public profile.

Working method

The public manifesto describes five principles:

  1. Define the problem before the solution. Clarify people, constraints and goals, building a shared view of user needs and business goals.
  2. Make complexity understandable. Organise flows and information with technical feasibility, security and regulation in mind.
  3. Design alongside the people building it. Use realistic prototypes to align users, stakeholders and developers; stay involved through to production.
  4. Check decisions against evidence. Use research, tests, data and feedback to refine solutions and revisit assumptions.
  5. Improve the product after release. Observe use and feedback to guide subsequent iterations.

Main projects

Personal contributions and product outcomes are stated separately. Metrics are those published in the portfolio; they do not measure the effect of the designer's work alone.

Crédit Agricole Italia App

Problem. Rethink an outdated app, constrained by legacy technology and a low rating, as a central channel for banking, customer relationships and digital sales.

Personal contribution. Product Designer since the 2019 redesign: UX/UI design, customer testing, release support and feedback collection. The public summary also reports support for managers on roadmap and priorities. The public hub covers payments, onboarding and financial management.

Product outcomes. The portfolio reports an app-store rating rising from 2.8 to 4.6 stars and 9 operations out of 10 carried out in the app. These figures describe the app's overall evolution, delivered by the teams involved.

Invite a friend. The public hub presents a user-validated acquisition channel and reports roughly one new account opening in four. This is a channel outcome; the summary does not detail the individual contribution. The complete case study is confidential and is not used as a source here.

CA Corporate Banking

Problem. Two independent legacy platforms, inconsistent interfaces and complex operational flows.

Personal contribution. Lead Product Designer: aligned business and development on requirements and led the unification of flows, from research to migration. The résumé documents the coordination of two designers during the redesign.

Published outcome. A unified experience with easier access to key operations, role and permission management, and a scalable design system. This is a qualitative project outcome; the public summary provides no quantitative metric.

Non-life & motor insurance

Problem. A long, complex journey with substantial information to enter before seeing the policy cost.

Personal contribution. Sole UX/UI Designer for App and Home Banking: translated funnel data into design priorities, checked feasibility with IT, and handled UI design and handoff.

Journey outcome. The public summary reports an 18% increase in digital sales compared with the previous year. It does not specify the measurement period or isolate the individual contribution.

Background beyond banking

The personal and study-project archive documents a path across UX, information architecture, digital strategy and web development. The following experiences include personal experiments, coursework and business-support work.

Personal projects and AI experimentation

  • Popi's Adventures (2026). A mountain-hike journal built as a vibe-coding experiment: ChatGPT for consultation and prompt generation, Codex for development, with Astro, GitHub and Vercel. Visit the project.
  • profbadtrip (2012–2026). A website dedicated to artist Gianluca Lerici, created for a web design and programming course at the University of Pisa. Since March 2026 it has also been a vibe-coding experiment. Visit the project.

UX education, content and web development

  • Linfa (2017). A master's project on family life in cities: needs definition, research, personas, usage scenarios, empathy maps and journey maps.
  • Netflix under the hood (2017). An information-architecture and UX analysis of the platform, produced with master's classmates as a reverse-engineering exercise.
  • Social and news (2017). A master's design proposal on online-newspaper social dynamics, starting from the problem of toxic comment discussions.
  • Italy in smoke (2016). A university project combining analysis and visualisation of Istat data through APIs and front-end development.
  • Madonna and Child with Saint John (2015). A digital catalogue entry for a work by Giampietrino, built in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the Digital Humanities degree. View the record.

These works document learning and areas explored; the archive does not report impact metrics or commercial outcomes for them.

Digital strategy for SMEs

Eccellenze in digitale (2015–2016). As part of a Google and Unioncamere project, Tiziano worked with 50 local SMEs for nine months through training, consultancy and support for their digital strategy. Source: public archive summary.

Where this experience may be useful

The following are possible applications of documented experience, not additional proven responsibilities or results:

  • Complex, regulated financial products: the app evolution and Corporate Banking work provide evidence around flows, constraints and consistent experiences.
  • Platform and journey unification: the Corporate Banking project documents the dialogue between research, business requirements and development.
  • Digital-journey optimisation: the insurance funnel and stated method connect data, priorities and solution validation.
  • Teams that follow a product through release and beyond: the résumé and manifesto describe handoff, UAT and improvements after go-live.
  • Projects connecting content, data and interfaces: study work in information architecture, Istat data and digital cataloguing offer areas to explore further; personal projects document experimentation with AI and web development.

Fit for a specific role, the required level of autonomy and skills not documented here should be explored during an interview.
